Birding in Wakkerstroom

Birders from all over the country (and the globe) are flocking to our little town for quality birding and of course to mark off those "lifers" on their birding wishlists.
Here at Forellenhof Guest Farm, guests are entertained by the busy Malachite- and Amethyst sunbirds in the shrubs in front of the guesthouse and the White Throated - and Lesser Striped Swallows who are feeding their little ones under the veranda roof, while the Secretary Bird roams the fields in front of the two self-catering cottages every so often.
